This beginner sourdough workshop will cover the basics of the sourdough making process. We'll discuss starter maintenance and work through all of the steps it takes to make a delicious loaf. The class will take about two and a half hours.

This is a hands-on class and allows you to see and feel each step of the process. You will leave with a jar of active starter, an unbaked loaf to bake in the following 1-3 days, a spatula, starter maintenance instructions, a beginner sourdough recipe, and a Harvest Moon goodie bag.

Class will take place at You’re Fired! pottery studio in Oxford! You are welcome to BYOB or grab a DORA drink from one of the nearby restaurants.

Feel free to bring an apron, but all other materials will be provided. We’ll end the class by sampling delicious sourdough treats.

Anniversary Festival

Anniversary Festival

Harvest Moon Homestead is turning 1 (officially)! Come celebrate the day with us and hopefully toast the opening of the roadside stand!

Wander through the garden and property, say hey to the chickens, rabbits, and bees, and see where all the cool stuff we make comes from!

We'll have lawn games and activities for the kids. Some amazing vendors will be set up selling their wares.

We'll be grilling all kinds of things and I'm sure there will be other treats (probably of the sourdough persuasion). Coffee and desserts will be available for purchase. Feel free to BYOB!

Yoga mini-sessions will run every hour starting at 2:30 so bring a mat if you have one! We will provide as many as possible.

We hope to see lots of the friends we have met along the way as well as old friends who have supported us from the beginning!
