Our same great sourdough workshop is moving to the Farmer’s Collective! Class will take place in the Two Little Buds Space next door.
This beginner sourdough workshop will cover the basics of the sourdough making process. We'll discuss starter maintenance and work through all of the steps it takes to make a delicious loaf. You will leave with your own starter and a loaf of bread to bake at home. The class will take about two and a half hours.
This is a hands-on class and allows you to see and feel each step of the process. You will leave with a jar of active starter, an unbaked loaf to bake in the following 1-3 days, a spatula, starter maintenance instructions, and a beginner sourdough recipe.
The first drink is on us! Grab a glass of wine, beer, or coffee from the bar before we start, and we will end the class by sampling an assortment of sourdough baked goods from Harvest Moon Homestead.
Feel free to bring an apron, but all other materials will be provided.
